On 30 March 2011, the RSA Fellowship Profit with Purpose network is delighted to welcome leading sustainability expert Tim Jackson to lead a discussion on the role that business can play in shaping a sustainable economy.
Tim will outline the arguments of his provocative book Prosperity without Growth, in which he claims that the environmental limits to economic growth, and its mixed contribution to human well-being, demand that we pursue a more sustainable and just path to prosperity. He will then
invite you to join him in exploring the role that businesses can play in shaping this new economy, and how they can adapt to its requirements.
This event forms part of a series of discussions, debates and talks organised by Profit with Purpose, a network of RSA Fellows who hope to encourage the traditional business model to become more active and effective in social,
environmental and economic sustainability.
The event is being hosted with generous support of the Shell Foundation, and will take place at the Shell Centre, 2 York Road, London SE1 7NA. In order to attend, please register using Eventbrite. The event is open to all, but due to access restrictions to the building it is essential to register with your full name in order to attend. If you wish to bring a guest, please register their name separately to your own.
