Great day yesterday at the Colston Hall at the end of the EU year on poverty, galvanised by June from the Pierian Centre and led by the Open Space movement. Open Space work on the principle that:
"The less structure you have the more space you have for the unimagined." Over 40 impromptu discussion groups led by people from many different backgrounds from all over Bristol - all based on changes they would make for a fairer future - some great debates - interspersed with music, dance, poetry. Lots of positive ideas for action - and fun.
Will be a follow up Cafe event at the Council House 6-9 pm 29th March organised by the Pierian Centre where we can progress some of the ideas- anyone wanting to go will need to book through them. It could be very popular so we are advised to book soon. Some RSA fellows were also keen on a multi-media cafe event in Knowle West and a walk to Longwell Green. Will be getting their email addresses off Chris so we can get these going.
Permalink Reply by Jude Brew English on April 19, 2011 at 15:16 Over the next few months the RSAde Group will be consolidating regional social networks and nings. The aim will be to improve connectivity for Fellows, improve communication and reduce fragmentation.
Therefore there will be an increase of regional and thematic groups over the next few months.
If you would like further information on these changes please contact the RSAde team via the Digital Engagement group on this network.
