I think it's also important to think about how other groups in the RSA engage with other organisations directly. We have an 'organisations theme' within the Glory of Failure campaign and we'd like to…Continue

I think it will be prudent for RSA to solicit views from individuals and institutions that are actively involved in Development work around the world and also organized international conferences and training for RSA members from culture diversity.

Hi I am interested in this area. Are there any ongoing meet ups or show and tell sessions to disseminate good practices or opportunities?

Hi Vivs - do you know about the work of Amplified Leicester which I've highlighted here?
I think that the idea of the Amplified Individual could be great inspiration for development of the Fellowship, and the self-reliant, engaged, pro-social citizen, as I've commented on MT's blog.
I'm running a workshop on March 12 with the Amplified Leicester group to explore what they have learned to date, and how that might translate to other towns. Maybe Peterborough ... and others on the social media surgery circuit?

Partnerships is an issue close to my RSA imbedded heart.

Recently, through Fellows based around Leicester I have been developing collaboration with DeMontfort University to tap into their existing Lecture and events programme. The outcome of these conversations is a joint event In the Autumn with Tim Lang talking about Food Policy. The majority of administration and work will be undertaken by DeMontfort staff who have the resources to deliver the event but need input from Fellows and RSA staff to develop topics, themes and identify expert speakers.

As some of you may know I recently worked with Fellows in the North West on developing a "Feasibility Study" over the potential future of the Portico Library & Gallery. Again by looking at both organisations needs, skills and resources RSA Fellows in Manchester were able to help prepare the Report working closely with the other organisaton. Costs were minimal except from Fellows volunteering their time and expertise.

I would love to hear of other examples of Fellows working closely with other organisations to deliver outcomes and examples of action.
