RSA Fellowship Social Network

Social Network for RSA Fellows

Hi All,

I'm standing as an 'At Large' candidate in the Council Elections. We've set up a group so you can follow the debate between the candidates - so please do ask us some questions. There's some good points in there already about why the elections aren't being promoted on the website and what are the key challenges for new councillors.

I have added my extended candidate statement as well.

As an active member of the Digital Engagement group I have already ben involved in discussions with the team at John Adam Street about the Fellowship Platform going forward.

As a fellow who's not based in London the Fellowship offering out in the regions isn't as defined as it is in London.  The RSA should be empowering fellows to make the social impact on a local level.  Using technologies such as the Ning, Skype, blogs, etc we can connect fellows and share the know-how.  But we need the mechanisms to do this.

If elected my goal over the next 2 years is to ensure The RSA deliver this vision for the fellowship - we need a more connected, collaborating, knowledge sharing fellowship - and this needs to be led by fellows.

What do you think? Do we need to bolster the platforms to get more fellows engaged online? How do you think we should be doing this?

Review of RSA Fellowship nings, social networks

Over the next few months the RSAde Group will be consolidating regional social networks and nings. The aim will be to improve connectivity for Fellows, improve communication and reduce fragmentation.

Therefore there will be an increase of regional and thematic groups over the next few months.

If you would like further information on these changes please contact the RSAde team via the Digital Engagement group on this network.
