North West Women's Enterprise Day Event - tickets now on sale and selling fast - Friday October 28th

I’m absolutely delighted to let you know that this year’s North West Women’s Enterprise Day Event will be on Friday October 28th.  Organised by RSA fellow Melanie Bryan, it would be great to benefit from the participation in the event of other fellow - if you're interested in attending please see below, but we also have opportunities to offer workshops, speaking slots, hands on demonstrations and opportunities for artisans. Please contact Melanie directly: melanie@whynotchange.co.uk Please can you circulate this to your female colleagues and networks to ensure they don’t miss out.

Again we’ve managed to keep tickets heavily subsidised due to the generosity of our main sponsor Cheshire East Council, our local sponsors (to be announced shortly), and Cranage Hall themselves, who so much enjoyed hosting last year’s event that they have generously decided to support us this year.

As those of you who joined us for this fabulous day last year will know, with just 250 tickets available, this event sells out very quickly so please do book now to avoid disappointment. Here is the link to more information and to purchase your tickets:

Many of you will have heard that last year’s event won an Outstanding Impact Award from Enterprise UK. This was a fantastic accolade for everyone’s hard work in making the day such a success. But of more importance, were the stories of those of you who have stayed in touch during the year to share your success in setting up and growing your businesses. We’re greatly looking forward to you sharing these stories with fellow delegates this year.

So to this year’s event which will inspire you, challenge your thinking and offer practical help to enable you to grow (or perhaps start up) your business and overcome your obstacles to doing so. We have an exciting programme for you.  Starting with our fantastic keynote speaker – Ruth Clemens (do check out the ticket link to learn more about Ruth’s inspirational story) – we’ll then move on to a 'pick and mix' format for the rest of the day (a little bit different from last year) that enables you to choose other speakers, workshops and new sessions to suit your personal objectives and interests.

You can attend as many sessions as you wish during the day, (subject to availability) all of which can be booked from registration onwards. On your 'menu' you will find:

  • Speakers corner - a fantastic line up of inspirational women who will share their stories, experience and tips
  • Practical workshops – interactive sessions to challenge your thinking, boost your business, and equip you with new tools and techniques
  • Hands on zone - benefit from demonstrations, practical tools, techniques and tips, and be inspired by a range of fascinating businesses all with a story to share
  • Living library - borrow a person for 15 minutes to benefit from their expertise, experience and perspective. A fantastic opportunity for some private time with our speakers and experts
  • Challenge zone - bring along your challenges - whether sticky problems or sparkling new possibilities - and benefit from the collective knowledge and experience of our experts and fellow participants
  • Artisan avenue - browse the wonderful gifts on offer in our artisan avenue. All are crafted here in the North West and perfect for a special someone or an indulgent treat for yourself.
  • Networking - with over 250 enterprising women in the room the possibilities are endless. We'll do our best to help you make the connections you need both during and after the event.

Again your tickets include entrance to the event; access to our speakers, workshops, sessions and zones; all day refreshments and lunch. All this for just £45.00!
