The Failure Files on Tour at the House of St Barnabas, 24th May 2011
Participants: A richly diverse group of 60 people willing to explore and promote the benefits of failure within organisations, individuals, and society. We want to mingle with social artists, entrepreneurs, lifelong learners, explorers, collaborators, inventors, leaders and YOU!
Programme: Think. Speak. Listen. Experiment. Play. Learn. Act.
David Hillson, recognised internationally as a thought leader and expert practitioner in risk management, offers a structured framework for failure suggesting some defining concepts and characteristics and proposing a typology of failure.
In “Knowing what you don’t know”, writer, editor and educator Susan Greenberg explores how important failure can be to learning and the creative process in theory and practice.
The Pantechnicon Poet John Smallshaw shares his musings and transformational perspective on failure.
Roxanne Persaud aka Maid of Fail will be Mistress of Ceremonies.

For those who missed it, we missed you too!
For us, it was 'mission accomplished'. We enjoyed a 'creative learning party' with a great guest list. What makes it real for us is the special buzz we get from sharing our ideas with such open, thoughtful, responsive people. And the excitement of wondering what we might have stimulated in wider thinking and practice. You can still join in!
Please do take the time to read The Failure Files, our blog, and join in more here in our discussion group. As you know we're focussing on our UK Tour right now, so we'd love it if you continue the conversations online. It's the best way we can think of to join up the hundreds of people who are finding their own glory in failure.
