Comment by Maria Ana Neves on June 4, 2013 at 19:53 Hi Catriona
I'm so thrilled with your Hackney Pirates enterprise - and sounds an amazing job, the right type I would love to get involved! At the moment I am fully committed to Plan Zheroes, but wish you the best to find the right Pirate. Will keep my eyes opened in case I find someone suitable. Best of luck :)
Comment by Catriona Maclay on June 4, 2013 at 18:56 Hi everyone, The Hackney Pirates are looking for an entrepreneurial individual to join the crew to lead our new trading activities as Head of Pirate Trading - could it be you, or do you know anyone who should apply? http://bit.ly/13YJIJX
Comment by Beth Parker on June 3, 2013 at 15:23 Check out my post on the Guardian social enterprise network today: https://socialenterprise.guardian.co.uk/en/articles/social-enterpri... . Aimed at charities wanting to develop their business arms but probably just as relevant for anyone wanting to establish a social enterprise. Any thoughts?

Comment by Caroline Veal on May 30, 2013 at 10:15 There is a Summer School for those interested in - or running Co-operatives and Social Enterprises at Sheffield Hallam University Business School - between the 17th and 19th July.
Please see the University web site for details - basic cost £295. The theme this year is "Pathways out of crisis".
Comment by Adrian Ashton on May 30, 2013 at 9:05 there's series of workshops being staged throughout the UK during June exploring how local media might be strengthened and enhance its impact in strengthening local communities using social and co-operative models - sounds like the sort of thing that RSA fellows would be interested in participating in...?
Comment by Sarah Tucker on May 29, 2013 at 14:32 Hi everyone
You may like to know that the Royal Designers Summer School is being re-launched on Thursday 5 – Sunday 8 September 2013 at Dartington Hall in Devon.
It is different from previous summer schools as there are 12 'wildcards' places up for grabs for people who are not necessarily in the design world but who are interested and/or touched by design in some way.
You can find out more about the summer school and how you can apply on the website:

Over the next few months the RSAde Group will be consolidating regional social networks and nings. The aim will be to improve connectivity for Fellows, improve communication and reduce fragmentation.
Therefore there will be an increase of regional and thematic groups over the next few months.
If you would like further information on these changes please contact the RSAde team via the Digital Engagement group on this network.
