It was a pleasure to meet with you all at the RSA WSN launch - a big thank you to Louise and all her colleagues for the effort that went into the evening. I have the feeling that the evening left people keen for more which is a great start. A lot of people I spoke to during the evening felt that this sort of event was an ideal opportunity for a greater number of speakers to have 'soundbite' time to introduce themselves and participate in the actual event. It certainly was clear from the evening that there was an extraordinary wealth and diversity of expertise in the audience and I for one would have welcomed hearing more from more people. I wonder if the 'coffee room' format may be something to think about for next time giving more people more of an opportunity to speak and interact. Also, great for networking! Would be interested to hear what people think about this approach?

Thank you to everyone who attended the RSAWSN networking last night despite the appalling travel conditions/bomb scare on the Strand.

If you live and/or work in the London Borough of Camden, you are invited to participate in an opportunity to speak to groups of up to 50 women; as well as facilitate groups of 5-10 women in a community project run by WEBB (Women Engaged in Building Bridges; www.webb-uk.com). Please see Discussion Forum above the Comment Wall for more details.

Thanks for posting this. Trustees are really the unsung heros and it is good to have a week to promote what they do. Hopefully we can come up with something from the network .
