Heartesianism is a philosophy that is based on the premise that the heart leads the head. Based on scientific, historical and anecdotal evidence it harnesses the belief that the passion of the heart to initiate and respond to directing feelings, emotions, attraction and actions. It encompasses the rational, irrational, ambiguity and paradox. Its application to leadership, decision making, thinking, intuition, action, creativity and innovation through the relationship with the concept of “contextual flow” and complexity theory.
