New fellows event

The New Fellows event a couple of nights ago was thoroughly stimulating. We had the opportunity to hear more about the RSA, to chat to each other, and to introduce ourselves to the whole group of about 50 with 20 seconds each to say our name, what we do, and what we are passionate about. Jennifer Kavanagh is a Quaker. She spent nearly thirty years in publishing, the last fourteen as an independent literary agent. In 1997 she became a community worker, working with refugees and rough sleepers, and spent six years as a research associate for the Prison Reform Trust. She currently sets up microcredit programmes, facilitates conflict management workshops, and runs retreats and workshops based on her books. Jennifer is the author of six books, two of which, Small Change, Big Deal: Money as if people mattered and The Failure of Success: Redefining what matters, will be published in 2012.
