I produce Children's Education materials mainly for the BBC. I am co-director of a small media production company and my lifelong interest is in education for all. I taught English at Castleford technology College from 1983-89 then joined the BBC Schools TV department. I was the Commissioner for Learning 3-19 from 2000-2006. I left to return to Yorkshire, worked as a sub-editor on the local paper and set up Turmeric Media in 2008. I'm now semi-retired and moving back into Buckinghamshire
