Working examples

Does anyone have any genuinely innovative examples of how Big Society principles have been successfully embedded into work with young people, children and families? I am currently re-designing the early intervention services for families in the local authority where I work. Spinning off local authority services

I'm currently involved in "spinning off" the youth service in the local authority where I work into an employee led mutual (we are one of the Cabinet Office's employee led mutuals pilots). I'm interested in finding others with similar experience, either from the perspective of establishing a mutual or social enterprise from a public sector service, or from the perspective of the "parent" body.
