Netiquette, the RSA and social media

Dear All,Below is the post I recently made on LinkedIn (http://www.linkedin.com) to the "official" RSA group there, I am hoping to create some thinking about the 'how' and the 'why' of the RSA sanctioning any specific group/platform or technology as a means for Fellows to engage.  Clearly, anything that is badged as being RSA needs to adhere to a set of principles that are in line with the aims and objectives of the RSA.  Please let me know what you…See More

Fellowship Council Meeting, 23rd March 2010

I recently read what can only be described as the shortest history of the Universe I have ever seen, it went something like this:

A History of the Universe

Chapter 1.

Bang!

Chapter 2.

Sssssss.....

Chapter 3.

Crunch!

Fellowship Meeting in Exeter

Last night I was delighted to attend a Fellows event in Exeter, hosted in the Devon & Exeter Institution in the magnificent library.

The event was attended by about 25 Fellows, some long standing contributors to the RSA, as well as three or four very new Fellows. The event itself raised some very interesting issues that I am sure… Continue

Fellowship Council note to the South and West

Dear Fellows,

This week the RSA Fellowship Council met formally for the first time and set about developing the business agenda for the Council, it's structure and ambitions for it's first term and to elect it's Chair, Deputy Chair and two Fellowship Council Trustee nominations.

All of this was blogged, live, from the meeting room by Jemima Gibbons and you can read all about it… Continue

sorry it took me sooooo long to respond to your request. I'm pleased to do so now! As the FC meetings are all held on Tuesdays and I can't make external meetings held on Tuesdays, I am at a bit of a disadvantage as regards the face-to-face element that so helps the social networking!
