Originally a national newspaper journalist, I co-founded Bright Ideas Trust with Tim Campbell, have worked with Nigel Kershaw at Big Issue Invest on policy, been a Board member of two theatres, served on organisations such as the Northamptonshire Rape and Incest Crisis Centre and police consultative committees. Recently I founded Heropreneurs which gives former members of the UK armed forces a package of advice and support to get into business. I still write occasional articles on technology and am an author of two biographies - with one on the go!
