Hi Sarah, I wondered whether the Social Entrepreneurs Network might be interested in this, a Symposium on Arts & Philanthropy taking place at Watts Gallery on 14 November.  Speakers include David Verey CBE (Art Fund Chairman and Lead Non-Exec Director at the DCMS), Nicholas Ferguson (Chairman of the Courtauld Institute and the Institute for Philanthropy) and Graham Fisher (Chief Exec, Toynbee Hall).  More information here:  http://bit.ly/sTsDaj

I would make two suggestions to get more out of the evening. If the group had been smaller then the intros would not have taken so very long.

The tour of the building could take the form of a 'highlights' presentation which encourages us to come back rather than lots of details about just two or three places which over ran on time and did not give us chance to see other parts of the building. The archivist's passion was a joy to witness but gave lots of depth for a quick visit.
