Stephen Coleman replied to Tessy Britton's discussion 'Listening to Fellows!'
"Re Tessy's question (13 September) Yes - in a sense, it's what one does as a teacher in a university. I always assume that the only way my students can be expected to listen to me is if a) I have something to say to them that will allow…"

David Wilcox replied to Stephen Coleman's discussion 'Communicating - with ourselves; with the wider world'
"I like "Communication as Social Performance". Extending the analogy, I suggest sustainability lies in keeping the space (theatre) costs down, while supporting the directors, stage managers, front of house staff needed ... whether paid-for…"

Stephen Coleman replied to Tessy Britton's discussion 'Listening to Fellows!'
"I like these ideas and would be happy to be involved in developing them. But I have a thought to raise about sustainability. My sense is that people are attracted to knowledge networks when it is clear that they can act (usually quite quickly) on…"

Peter Churchill replied to Stephen Coleman's discussion 'Communicating - with ourselves; with the wider world'
"Stephen The enclosed VCH paper was something a group of us put together that might give a lttle food for thought. We put things on hold (other than sharing our ideas) when RSA Networks appeared, as it appeared to share our ambitions. We then…"
