A retired Consultant / Programme / large Project Manager who had his own company and still understands, and can explain, how IT can be used to improve business performance whilst reducing costs and so gain market leadership. Had an excellent record of building commercially oriented project teams, as well as establishing business strategy, linking IT to business strategy, delivering, and then maintaining leading edge applications in a variety of private and public sector organisations.

Became Chairman of the East Midlands region with 1200 members and for 2 years was an elected member of the National Executive with responsibilities for events such as the National Schools Investment Public Speaking and Debating Competitions. In 1985 was awarded honorary world-wide life membership of JCI for services to their National and International Organisations.
