Social Network for RSA Fellows

Remember, Remember, the Perils of Movember! ={ )

Chances are that next time you see me I'll be looking slightly different!

Along with some of my colleagues at the RSA, I have decided to participate in Movember to raise money for charity.  For those not familiar with this innovative charity, it is an annual fundraiser where gents grow moustaches during the month of November, sacrificing  their personal looks and vanity in order to raise money and awareness for various aspects of mens' health.  Given that I have a "face for radio" this is arguably less onerous for me, however it is still a very strange situation to be in.

We are raising money for both Prostate Cancer Research and Mind, which is particularly rewarding given the previous exciting work which RSA NE and Harlepool Mind have collaborated on.  For further details you can check out our Justgiving Page, where I am unfortunately assured photos will be getting posted.  In addition, Matthew Taylor wrote a blogextolling our exploits.  Sadly he has been unable to participate in the exercise (apparently he is the "thinking woman's crumpet!), but is being extremely supportive.

So try not to look too aghast the next time you see me if I appear to have forgotten where my razor is! ={ )
